Deputy Chairman Prof. Dr. Doğan Aydal was a guest on the program "Eşit Ağırlık" on tv100.

Speaking about the local elections to be held on March 31, Aydal also touched upon the alliance negotiations held with the AKP.

'ALLIANCE' CONDITIONS

Highlights from Doğan Aydal's statements are as follows:

"I am the first one to voice this. We requested 2 metropolitan municipalities from the AK Party. Kocaeli and Sakarya. Why did we want this? You know the late Erbakan Hodja's sensitivity toward industrial zones. As for us, when you look at my resume, I am also the head of many R&D departments that could very easily develop an industrial city.

"THEY HAD NO CHANCE OF WINNING 76 DISTRICTS WITHOUT US"

They stated that they would convey this request of ours to the President. Let me continue. We demanded 35 districts. And why? I put it in front of them as a graph. They had no chance of winning 76 districts without us."
