It has been announced that DEM Party co-chairs Tülay Hatimoğulları and Tuncer Bakırhan will visit Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Özgür Özel tomorrow. The meeting is scheduled to take place at the CHP Chairman's Working Office.
It was stated that the visit by Hatimoğulları and Bakırhan is intended to show solidarity against the court-ordered temporary appointment of Gürsel Tekin to the CHP Istanbul Provincial Presidency and against political operations directed at the CHP.
During its Central Executive Board (MYK) meeting held on September 8, the DEM Party announced to the public that they “stand against all forms of interference directed at the CHP and will remain in solidarity.”
