Visit from Ümit Özdağ to Müsavat Dervişoğlu! 'Grey Wolf' salute draws attention

Zafer Party Chairman Ümit Özdağ visited IYI Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu following his release after 148 days of detention.

In the noteworthy meeting, the photograph of Özdağ and Dervişoğlu making the "grey wolf" sign together resonated widely on social media.

Following the meeting, Dervişoğlu and Özdağ made a joint press statement. Stating that they held a discussion regarding Turkey's issues, Dervişoğlu said that the talks would continue.

Dervişoğlu said, "We mutually expressed that we would not refrain from acting together if a need arises to meet the expectations of the great Turkish nation, in a way that responds to the demands and expectations of the nation, rather than for the political benefit of our parties and ourselves. My words are actually suitable for evaluation. Allow us to make that evaluation among ourselves in the coming period."

Ümit Özdağ, in his speech here, said that he made his first political party visit to the IYI Party due to their support. Speaking about the recent Talat Pasha debates, Özdağ said that he would hold a moment of silence in front of the Talat Pasha statue in Ankara tomorrow at 11:00.

MIGRATION WARNING TO THE GOVERNMENT

Responding to a question regarding the possibility of a migration wave due to the Israel and Iran conflicts, Özdağ said, "Turkey is a country that has already received enough migration. It does not need more migration. The process of returning those currently here to their countries should be shaped. There is a possibility that the process in Iran could evolve into one that results in the collapse of the regime and perhaps triggers a civil war. Therefore, I feel it is necessary to warn the government to take the necessary precautions at the border now, taking this into account."
