A new resignation has been added to the series of departures within the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) in recent days. Following the recent departure of Aksaray Deputy Ramazan Kaşlı from the party, this time Kuşadası District Chairman Murat İnan announced that he has stepped down from his post.

İnan, who has served as District Chairman for approximately six years, announced that he is leaving his seat due to an increase in his workload. In a post on his personal social media account, İnan emphasized that he had carried out this duty with a great sense of honor and responsibility, and stated that he had requested to be "relieved" of his duties.

In his statement, İnan recalled that the appreciation of MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli and Deputy Chairman Semih Yalçın played a role in his appointment, and thanked the organization members and party members he worked with during his tenure. İnan also underlined that despite leaving the district chairmanship, he would continue to support party activities under the MHP umbrella.

In recent weeks, the party's Aksaray Deputy Ramazan Kaşlı had made headlines by resigning immediately after the process for his expulsion from the party was initiated following his referral to the disciplinary board.
