The wave of resignations in the MHP continues. Mehmet Uzun and Selçuk Sibir, who announced their resignations before the Pazaryeri Municipal Council meeting, stated that a detailed statement regarding the matter would be made in the coming days.

In the municipal council, the AKP has 4 members, the CHP and MHP have 2 members each, and the New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah Partisi) has 1 member.

MHP Provincial Chair İbrahim Bağ, in a written statement, claimed that the resigning members acted against the principles of the People's Alliance and cooperated with the opposition.

Bağ stated that these individuals had been warned previously and had opposed the party's decisions. Furthermore, he alleged that there were dark ambitions behind these resignations and argued that the resigning members should also step down from their council seats.

Bağ said, "No person can stand in the way of our Headquarters and our faith in our state. These two individuals are being supported by certain media outlets close to our alliance partner. We will expose the dark faces behind these simple resignations."
