What is on the agenda at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey before the recess? A critical process has begun

The General Assembly of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) will continue its work until July 31 following tense committee deliberations. Discussions on the stray animals bill are also expected to begin in the General Assembly today.

Furthermore, a notification sent to members of parliament stated that the visitor ban at the Parliament will remain in effect. A visitor ban has been imposed for the dates of July 26-29, during which the Parliament will be in session. 

The 9th Judicial Package and the Teaching Profession Law Proposal, which were scheduled to be discussed in the General Assembly, are expected to be postponed to the new legislative term.

Meetings of the parties with groups in the Parliament and parliamentary research commissions will not take place this week.

The Constitutional Commission and the Joint Constitutional and Justice Commission of the TBMM will continue their work throughout the Parliament's summer recess.
