YRP leader Fatih Erbakan announced at a rally he held yesterday (February 3) that they would field candidates in Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir.
It is being awaited with curiosity how this decision by the YRP will play a role in Istanbul, which is at the top of the list of cities most wondered about in the local elections.
YRP SOURCES ANNOUNCED THEIR VOTE SHARE IN ISTANBUL
On the other hand, YRP sources stated that they would also pull off surprises in other metropolitan cities, in addition to Istanbul.
According to the report in Gazete Duvar, YRP officials, who stated that their vote share in Istanbul is 7 percent and that they have the potential to determine the outcome of the election, said that they would achieve remarkable results in many cities with a nationwide vote share reaching 5 percent.
Party members said, “Follow Bursa, Balıkesir, and Şanlıurfa among the metropolitan cities, and Bingöl, Yozgat, and Elazığ among the provinces specifically.”
