The Turkish Parliament will work with a busy agenda this week.

CLOSED SESSION TO BE HELD
According to information obtained by an AA reporter, the TBMM General Assembly will begin its weekly work on Tuesday, October 8.
In this session of the General Assembly, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan and Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler will brief members of parliament on Israel's attacks and developments in the Middle East. The session is expected to be held behind closed doors.
TEACHING PROFESSION LAW
Following this session, the General Assembly will continue its work by resuming deliberations on the Teaching Profession Law Proposal.
According to the proposal, a National Education Academy will be established. Preparatory training, consisting of theoretical and practical courses determined within the framework of teaching profession competencies, will be provided by the National Education Academy.
Teacher candidates will be paid a monthly amount during the preparatory training process, calculated by multiplying the determined indicator figure by the civil servant monthly coefficient.
Contracted teachers who have completed a three-year working period will be appointed to teaching positions in the place where they serve upon their request. Those appointed to teaching positions will not be able to change their location for 1 year, except for relocations based on valid excuses.
The teaching status of those convicted of crimes such as manufacturing and trading of drugs or stimulants, facilitating their use, accepting, possessing, or using them, as well as indecent acts, obscenity, prostitution, and crimes against sexual immunity, will be terminated.
In the event that the crimes of "intentional injury," "threat," "insult," and "resisting to prevent the performance of duty" are committed against teachers in official and private educational institutions affiliated with the Ministry of National Education due to their duties, the penalties will be increased by half, and the provisions for the suspension of prison sentences will not be applied.
Among incumbent teachers and expert teachers, those who have completed 20 years of service and meet the conditions, excluding the requirement of having at least 10 years of service as an expert teacher, will be able to apply for the title of head teacher.
Additionally, the General Assembly will elect 3 members to the Personal Data Protection Board.
RTÜK TO MAKE A PRESENTATION IN PARLIAMENT
The Human Rights Investigation Commission's Sub-Commission on Islamophobia and Racism will hear from officials of the Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK).
The State Economic Enterprises Commission will also convene to discuss the establishment of sub-commissions.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, the group meetings of the political parties with groups in Parliament will also be held.
