Hamza Dağ is a politician and lawyer born on March 1, 1980, in the Demirci district of Manisa. Registered in the Sındırgı district of Balıkesir, Dağ began his education at the Simav Imam Hatip High School, graduating in 1996. He completed his undergraduate studies at the Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Law in 2000.

Dağ began his political career by serving as a board member and later as the Provincial Vice President responsible for Election Affairs in the AK Party İzmir Provincial Youth Branch. He was elected as the Provincial Youth Branch President at the congress held on February 3, 2008. Elected as an İzmir Deputy for the 24th term in the 2011 elections, Dağ continued to serve in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) as an İzmir Deputy during the 25th, 26th, and 27th terms. During this period, he served as a member of the Human Rights Investigation Commission and the Planning and Budget Commission.

A member of the AK Party Central Decision and Administrative Board (MKYK) since 2014, Hamza Dağ served as the vice president of the Election Affairs Unit between 2014 and 2017. Dağ served as the Deputy Chairman responsible for R&D between 2017 and 2021, and has continued to serve as the Deputy Chairman responsible for Promotion and Media since March 24, 2021. He is married and a father of four children.
