Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who was returned to the CHP chairmanship by a court decision, made statements on a live broadcast on tv100 regarding internal party debates and the expenses he incurred in the period following the party convention.

Kılıçdaroğlu answered questions about how the expenses for the office he rented in Ankara and the personnel and security guards working with him were covered following the 38th Ordinary CHP Convention held on November 4-5, 2023.

Stating that the CHP Headquarters had allocated vehicles to him for a period and covered the meal expenses of his security guards, Kılıçdaroğlu said that this support was later cut off. Emphasizing that the security guards are state-employed police officers, Kılıçdaroğlu explained that their meal expenses were paid through an agreement made with a restaurant across the street.

"The headquarters was covering the meal money, the food for the security guards. At first, the headquarters was also giving me the cars. I thanked them. But after a while, the headquarters cut the security guards' food and withdrew the cars allocated to me."

Kılıçdaroğlu stated that during this process, he covered some of the expenses himself and some with incoming aid. Stating that a businessman then stepped in, Kılıçdaroğlu said, “A businessman supported me. A businessman came and paid for my vehicles. He paid for my security guards' food.”

In his post, Sevinç argued that Çapar was the businessman who organized the CHP’s rally stages and convention events during Kılıçdaroğlu’s tenure as chairman. He also alleged that Çapar received 240 million lira from the CHP in 2023 for organizing rally stages and 50 million lira for organizing the convention hall on November 4, 2023.
