Ali Burak Mülayim, who was appointed to this position in 2022 and whose term had been extended until 2026, was removed from office by a sudden decision. He was replaced by Eriş Başaran Akça, who had been serving as the Provincial Public Health Director and Deputy Provincial Health Director.
