Anahtar Party Chairman Yavuz Ağıralioğlu made sharp criticisms of the AKP in a post on his social media account. Emphasizing "cronyism" in state administration, Ağıralioğlu brought up the topics of oversight, merit, accountability, justice, and the rule of law.
In his post, Ağıralioğlu stated, "If you govern the state through cronyism, at the end of the day, you will lose both the seriousness of the state and the trust of the nation."
Stating that the AKP has had the opportunity to govern the country for a long time, Ağıralioğlu said, "If you had been friends with oversight, these things would not have happened. If you had been friends with merit, the country would not be like this. If you had been friends with accountability, these things would not be experienced."
In his statement, Ağıralioğlu targeted the government with the words, "I wish you had been friends with merit instead of spouses, friends, and relatives. I wish you had been friends with justice instead of loyalty. I wish you had been friends with state discipline instead of arbitrariness."
The Anahtar Party leader also touched upon discussions regarding institutions and social trust, arguing that Turkey is today forced to talk about "how to get the country's institutions and the nation's trust back on their feet."
