VOTER MEETING IN TOKAT: EMPHASIS ON "WILL TO BECOME A STATE"
In his speech at the hotel event, Ağıralioğlu explained how the slogan "A Devlet (State) will come to the head of the state" turned into a slogan within the nationalist (Ülkücü) community. Stating that the phrase "Yavuz will come to the head of the state" was banned by the party, he said, "We banned that slogan. The nationalist community combined the desire for the state to be a state, the will to become a state, with Mr. Devlet's name and produced a slogan. A Devlet (State) came to the head of the state, and we have suffered everything imaginable."
