Yavuz Ağıralioğlu's striking comment on Erdoğan regarding the new process: 'I see Tayyip Bey as more...'

Anahtar Party Chairman Yavuz Ağıralioğlu criticized the process initiated by MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli, stating that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan does not yet understand what the process will entail and is being more cautious. Ağıralioğlu said, "Pull yourselves together. Öcalan is not the representative of the Kurds. To say the opposite is an insult to the Kurds. Creating a perception as if we have failed in this struggle and bowed down to terrorism is an insult to the state."

Anahtar Party Chairman Yavuz Ağıralioğlu attended the opening ceremony of his party's Kocaeli Provincial Headquarters.

Speaking there, Ağıralioğlu made evaluations regarding the new process, which continues with the meeting between the DEM Party and terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan following MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli's call, as well as the visits in the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM).

Ağıralioğlu stated the following: 

"They are talking about the right to hope. A friend of ours shared with the public that it is not legally possible. Öcalan was captured in '99. If he had disbanded the organization at that time, it would have been possible. However, our children have been martyred for 25 years. We warned that it is not legally possible. Do you know what they said? They said, 'Do not tweet like this again.' They say, 'If you do, we will open an investigation.' You show the way to prison and intimidate a scientist when they explain a legal justification. Yet, you say a murderous terrorist should come to Parliament and speak. Pull yourselves together. Öcalan is not the representative of the Kurds. To say the opposite is an insult to the Kurds. Creating a perception as if we have failed in this struggle and bowed down to terrorism is an insult to the state.

Who do you think you are to meet with Öcalan? I remind the AK Party staff. Martyrs die when the state sits at the table with the scoundrels who murdered them. Our little children, our mothers and fathers are at the head of the coffin. The ceremony ends, everyone goes home. Then, a lonely orphan, a poor mother and father remain at the graveside. While we have Mehmetçiks (soldiers) who die saying 'Long live the homeland,' by what right have you started meeting? Now we are watching what you are doing. We will see what kind of trouble you are brewing for this nation. We will see if they are going to lay dynamite at the foundation of this nation. I see Tayyip Bey as more cautious and prudent. He does not yet understand what the process will be either."
