Yeni Şafak columnist reacts to AKP's Zeybekci, whom he says he doesn't know: 'I haven't heard a more idiotic statement'

Yeni Şafak columnist İsmail Kılıçarslan has issued a harsh criticism of AKP Deputy Chairman Nihat Zeybekci, who defended trade with Israel by saying, "Sure, we condemn with hatred the baby massacre Israel is committing against Muslims. But it is a country with which we have a free trade agreement. A country to which we sell 6 and buy 1." Kılıçarslan stated, "Throughout the Gaza process, I have not heard a more moronic statement than this."

AKP Deputy Chairman Nihat Zeybekci's defense of trade between Turkey and Israel, saying "Sure, we condemn with hatred the baby massacre Israel is committing against Muslims. One of the harshest reactions came from Yeni Şafak columnist İsmail Kılıçarslan, who is known for his closeness to the government.

Quoting Zeybekci's speech on his social media account, Kılıçarslan said, "Throughout the Gaza process, I have not heard a more foolish, a more moronic statement than this. He says 'Sure' for genocide, for heaven's sake. Shame on you. Damn it."

"ISMAİL, DO YOU HAVE ANY EXCUSES LEFT TO MAKE UP"

In response to a follower who commented on his post, "İsmail, do you have any excuses left to make up? You will account for these days in the presence of God. The sin of selling 6 and buying 1 will be heavy," Kılıçarslan replied, "Man, I don't even know who this is. He has made the most absurd analysis I have ever heard in my life. May he be resurrected with those he loves."

"A STATEMENT HIDING BEHIND OUR PRESIDENT"

Stating that he does not know Nihat Zeybekci, who has served as a minister in the past, Kılıçarslan wrote, "Now the friend next to me told me. It's Nihat Zeybekci. I do not forgive him for these words. I will be a plaintiff against him in the afterlife."

Sharing the statement Zeybekci made following the reactions, Kılıçarslan reacted by saying, "Ha. The statement hiding behind our President has also arrived. Truly, shame on you. On my own behalf, I will be a plaintiff against these words both in the afterlife and in this world."
