Yeniden Refah Party nominates Davut Güloğlu as Düzce mayoral candidate

Singer Davut Güloğlu had entered politics some time ago with the Yeniden Refah Party. Güloğlu, who was also a parliamentary candidate in the last election, has been announced by the Yeniden Refah Party as the Düzce mayoral candidate for the March 31 local elections.

Davut Güloğlu's candidacy was announced on the Yeniden Refah Party's social media account. The post stated, "Our Düzce mayoral candidate is our esteemed artist Davut Güloğlu. May it be auspicious for Düzce and our party."

"WE ARE COMING TO TAKE CARE OF OUR CITIES"

Making a statement on his own social media account, Güloğlu used the following expressions:

"Together with our Chairman Dr. Fatih Erbakan, we are setting out to bring the ethical municipalism approach of our Yeniden Refah Party, the sole representative of the National View (Milli Görüş) banner, to Düzce.

With the projects prepared by our academics and the National View cadres, we are not coming to destroy the old; we are coming to beautify the old. We are not coming to show hostility, but to show love. We are not coming to win, but to take care of our cities.

I declare that with a management approach where we entrust the work to those who are qualified and with our austerity measures, we will be by our citizens' side rather than a burden on their backs, and we will rush to meet all needs again with the spirit of '94. Our door is wide open to all our citizens who will lend a hand for our Düzce and produce solutions to its needs."
