Yeniden Refah Party nominates former AKP member Faruk Septioğlu as Elazığ mayoral candidate
Faruk Septioğlu, the grandson of Sheikh Said, son of former minister Ali Rıza Septioğlu, and a former AKP Member of Parliament, has become the Yeniden Refah Party's candidate for Elazığ.

The Yeniden Refah Party (YRP) continues to announce its candidates for the local elections.
Most recently, Sheikh Said's grandson Faruk Septioğlu joined the Yeniden Refah Party and was nominated as the mayoral candidate for Elazığ.
FATİH ERBAKAN ANNOUNCED
Septioğlu's candidacy was announced by Yeniden Refah Party Chairman Fatih Erbakan. In a post on his social media account, Erbakan stated the following:
"Faruk Septioğlu, son of the late Elazığ MP Ali Rıza Septioğlu and a 23rd and 24th term Elazığ MP, has joined our party and become our Elazığ mayoral candidate. We congratulate our esteemed chairman and wish him success in his service."

Faruk Septioğlu, who served as an AK Party MP for Elazığ during the 23rd and 24th terms, is also the son of Ali Rıza Septioğlu, a former state minister and son of Sheikh Said who was active in politics within parties such as the Justice Party, CHP, and DYP.
