YRP Chairman Erbakan provides figures on rising membership numbers

New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah Partisi) Chairman Dr. Fatih Erbakan held the opening ceremony for his party's election liaison office in the Yahya Kemal neighborhood of Kağıthane. The opening was attended by Provincial Chairman Mustafa Doğan, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayoral Candidate and Deputy Chairman Mehmet Altınöz, as well as other guests and citizens.

"THERE IS NO THEFT IN ETHICAL MUNICIPALISM"

Speaking at the opening, New Welfare Party Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayoral Candidate Mehmet Altınöz said, "What do we say? We say ethical municipalism. We say ethical municipality with the New Welfare Party. These are important words chosen from among thousands.

Why did we choose this 'ethical municipalism' out of thousands of words? What do our friends say? In unethical municipalism, there is corruption; in ethical municipalism, there is no theft, no incompetence, no nepotism, and no bribery," he said.

"OVER 30,000 MEMBERS REGISTERED IN 19 DAYS"

Stating that the number of members has exceeded 30,000 in the last 20 days, Dr. Fatih Erbakan said, "Another indicator that our New Welfare Party is the shining star of Turkey is our official membership count: In five and a half months, we have gone from 265,000 to 442,800.

This means nearly 200,000 member registrations in five and a half months. In the last 2 days, our member registrations have exceeded 30,000. There have been over 30,000 member registrations in 19 days. This means nearly 50,000 per month. Now, the entry of wet-signed forms into the system continues. In just a few days, we will have surpassed 450,000, and we will have exceeded 100,000 members in Istanbul. 

Our goal is to continue at this pace. To enter the March 31 elections with over 500,000 members. When we pass 500,000, we will have become Turkey's 3rd largest political party in terms of membership," he stated.

Stating that the New Welfare Party is a shining star, Fatih Erbakan said, "Numbers do not lie, official membership counts do not lie. No one can say that any other political party in Turkey or the world has grown by 70-80 percent in five and a half months in terms of membership. Furthermore, another proof that our New Welfare Party will make an electoral breakthrough is that the strongest, most equipped, and highest-potential candidates in every corner of Turkey want to be candidates from our New Welfare Party.

It is a clear indicator that our New Welfare Party is a shining star and a source of hope. There will never be any place for bribery, waste, or corruption in our municipalities. There will be no cronyism, no nepotism; justice in distribution and justice in administration are the foundation of the National View (Milli Görüş). There will be no double standards; it will be a municipality that works for the citizens, not for the cronies. A municipality that entrusts the work to those who are qualified. Justice; we cannot escape our responsibility just by praying, fasting, going on pilgrimage, or covering our heads," he said.
