Management change at Flash TV! Sales agreement with Halk TV was canceled at the last minute, and that figure close to the government has become the Editor-in-Chief

The government continues its media investments without interruption. Flash TV, which Halk TV owner Cafer Mahiroğlu attempted to purchase but could not acquire after a problematic sales process, has now joined the pro-government media. It is alleged that Ersoy Dede has been appointed as the channel's editor-in-chief and that former Akit employees will also be joining the channel.

The new management of Flash TV, which was allegedly purchased by a group close to the AK Party following disputes over its sale to Halk TV, has been determined.

Halk TV owner Cafer Mahiroğlu had claimed on his account on the social media platform X that they had made a payment to purchase Flash TV but were unable to receive the shares.

Mahiroğlu's message implied that the government had pressured the owners of Flash TV.

Following this post by Mahiroğlu, the Flash TV management returned the money.

According to a report by Kadir Gürhan from Elips Haber, Ercan Gürses has been appointed as the Ankara Representative of Flash TV, which was purchased by a group close to the AK Party, while Ersoy Dede has been appointed as the Editor-in-Chief.

While it is alleged that instructions have been given to change many on-screen faces at Flash TV with the change of the Editor-in-Chief, it is expected that Can Ataklı, Fatih Ertürk, and many other on-screen faces will be replaced in this context.

It has been claimed that former Akit presenter Fatin Dağıstan and many figures close to the AK Party will join the Flash TV organization.

It has been learned that the channel, which will begin broadcasting under the new management, will air economic news during the day and discussion programs in the evening.

WHO IS ERSOY DEDE?

Ersoy Dede was forced to leave his position at TRT after his connections to Sezgin Baran Korkmaz were revealed.

A list of journalists who allegedly received money from Sezgin Baran Korkmaz, the Chairman of SBK Holding and the SBK Foundation—who was convicted of qualified fraud and extradited to the US by Austria for questioning after fleeing Turkey—had become a major topic in the media.

The journalists whose names appeared on the list denied the allegations by issuing statements, while TRT 1 Main News Anchor Ersoy Dede withdrew from the screen.
