5,650 TL cash support for citizens receiving social assistance: Can be collected from PTT branches

Cash support is a type of social assistance provided under the Law on the Encouragement of Social Assistance and Solidarity No. 3294. This assistance is offered to citizens between the ages of 18-55 who benefit from regular social assistance programs and are capable of working.

The purpose of this assistance is to facilitate citizens' job searches, increase their participation in the labor market, and find solutions to the problem of unemployment.

CAN BE OBTAINED FROM PTT BRANCHES

To benefit from the cash support, individuals receiving social assistance who are evaluated as capable of working by Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundations and are registered with İŞKUR must document that they have been directed to a job interview by İŞKUR and have started a job with social security coverage. This documentation is carried out through the Integrated Social Assistance Information System using Social Security Institution records. Individuals receiving social assistance whose job start information is verified can collect the 5,650 TL cash support from PTT branches with their identification within 60 days from the date this information is verified.

The amount of cash support corresponds to 1/3 of the gross minimum wage. For 2024, this amount has been set at 5,650 TL. Cash support can be utilized only once within a year.
