Appointment and dismissal decisions published in the Official Gazette

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's signed appointment and dismissal decisions regarding various ministries and public institutions have been published in the Official Gazette.

Accordingly, Dr. Yusuf Atan, a faculty member at Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University, was appointed as Vice President of the Council of Forensic Medicine; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yalçın Avcı was appointed as a Cardiology Member of the First Forensic Medicine Specialization Board of the Council of Forensic Medicine; Specialist Dr. Mustafa Bilal Ceylan was appointed as a Forensic Medicine Member of the Seventh Forensic Medicine Specialization Board of the Council of Forensic Medicine; and Prof. Dr. Mehmet Akif Özdamar, a faculty member at Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa, was appointed as an Ophthalmology Member of the Seventh Forensic Medicine Specialization Board of the Council of Forensic Medicine.

Furthermore, Hakkı Alp was appointed as President of Urban Transformation, Bedri Sinan Gül as General Manager of Urban Transformation, and Sezayi Köse as General Manager of Marmara Urban Transformation at the Presidency of Urban Transformation.

Güven Begeç was appointed as the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to the State of Libya, and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Burak Akçapar was appointed as the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Türkiye to the United Nations Office at Geneva.

Taner Beyoğlu, the deputy general manager of the institution, was appointed as the General Manager of Libraries and Publications at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, while Muharrem Eliş was appointed as the General Manager of Legal Services at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

Ali Murat Sürekli, Ömer Bilen, and Serkan Çelik were dismissed from their positions as Deputy General Managers of Industry at the Ministry of Industry and Technology. Elif Tuğçe Çınar, Ümit Yasin Güven, and İsmail Musab Gülaçar were appointed to the vacant Deputy General Manager of Industry positions.

Prof. Dr. Derviş Karaboğa, who was selected by the Interuniversity Council, was appointed as a member of the Council of Higher Education.

Prof. Dr. Musa Kazım Arıcan was appointed as Rector of Ankara Social Sciences University, Prof. Dr. Hakan Özkardeş as Rector of Başkent University, Prof. Dr. Zafer Asım Kaplancıklı as Rector of Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University, Prof. Dr. Ersoy Kocabıcak as Rector of Istanbul Atlas University, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Ege Yazgan as Rector of Istanbul Bilgi University, Prof. Dr. Şeyma Aydınoğlu as Rector of Istanbul Galata University, and Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kara as Rector of Istanbul Rumeli University.
