Change from the Ministry of National Education regarding additional course fees

With a decision published in the Official Gazette and bearing the signature of AKP Chairman and President Tayyip Erdoğan, an amendment was made to the Decision Regarding the Course and Additional Course Hours of Administrators and Teachers of the Ministry of National Education.

Within the scope of this regulation, a new paragraph added to Article 6 of the aforementioned decision introduced the provision that "additional course fees, which are stipulated to be paid at an increased rate as determined by Article 176 of Law No. 657, shall be paid starting from the highest increase rate, regardless of which working day of the week these duties are performed, provided that the monthly teaching duties are completed per week."

Accordingly, teachers' additional course fees, which are stipulated to be paid at increased rates, will be calculated based on the highest increase rate, regardless of which day of the week the classes fall on, provided that the monthly teaching duties are fulfilled in full per week.
