Ankara's traffic problems and proposed solutions were discussed at the "Stay in Your Lane, Start the Change" workshop, organized in cooperation with the Ankara City Council and Radyo Trafik Ankara. The event, held at the Necip Fazıl Kısakürek Hall in Gençlik Park, was attended by many academics, representatives of non-governmental organizations, and citizens.

Delivering the opening speech of the workshop, Radyo Trafik Ankara Broadcast Director Erol Tümtaş stated that the "Stay in Your City" project aims for drivers in the city to be aware of each other and to prioritize life safety. Tümtaş emphasized that this project has reached large audiences and is a first in Turkey.

Ankara City Council Deputy Chairman Savaş Zafer Şahin drew attention to the importance of urban planning, stating that structures and transportation must be planned together. Şahin said, "It is not right to build high-rise buildings and then expect the municipality to solve the transportation problem."

ABB Deputy Mayor Faruk Köylüoğlu touched upon the importance of public transportation investments in his speech. Köylüoğlu said, "If the 801 million dollars spent on Ankapark had been invested in subways instead, we would not be experiencing traffic problems today." He also noted that unplanned urbanization and population growth in Ankara have led to infrastructure problems.

The workshop also featured panels on transportation and traffic problems in Ankara, as well as technological applications and future architecture.
