A TOTAL OF 1,036 PERSONNEL TO BE HIRED FOR EÜAŞ AND TEİAŞ
Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar announced that a total of 1,036 personnel will be hired to strengthen the staff of the Electricity Generation Company (EÜAŞ) and the Turkish Electricity Transmission Company (TEİAŞ).
In a post on the social media platform X, Bayraktar announced that they have taken an important step to further strengthen human resources in Turkey's energy sector.
Stating that 601 technicians and office staff will be hired for EÜAŞ, and 435 technicians and support staff for TEİAŞ, Bayraktar said, 'I believe our new employees will contribute to every stage of our energy infrastructure, from production to transmission. I wish them success and hope it will be beneficial.'
HOW TO APPLY FOR EÜAŞ AND TEİAŞ POSITIONS?
In the statement made by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, the necessary conditions for candidates applying for the positions were shared.
It was stated that candidates must be citizens of the Republic of Turkey and must not have reached the age of 36. While candidates applying for the disabled quota are required to be at least high school graduates, it was stated that other candidates must be graduates of vocational or technical high schools in departments such as Electrical-Electronics Technology, Construction Technology, Chemical Technology, or Machinery Technology.
In order to strengthen its operations across the country, EÜAŞ will hire a total of 601 permanent workers, including 574 technicians, 11 disabled individuals, and 16 former convicts.
Following the application process for EÜAŞ, a lottery will be held in the presence of a notary on May 6-7. The 2,404 candidates determined as a result of the lottery will be invited to interviews in Adana, Ankara, and Istanbul. After the evaluations, 601 candidates will begin working within EÜAŞ.
TEİAŞ will hire a total of 435 new personnel, 419 of whom will be technicians, to be assigned in 52 provinces, including Istanbul and Ankara.
It was stated that candidates applying to TEİAŞ must be citizens of the Republic of Turkey, must have completed the age of 18, and must have received at least 60 points from the 2024 KPSS P93 score type.
In addition, graduation from the associate degree programs determined for the applied position is also required.
Among the candidates who meet the application requirements, candidates four times the number of open positions will be selected based on their KPSS score ranking and called for an oral exam. A practical exam will also be held for some titles. The exams will be evaluated out of 100 points, and candidates who score at least 60 points will be considered successful.
