HOW MUCH WILL THE JANUARY 2025 HOME CARE ALLOWANCE BE?
Salary raises for civil servants and civil servant retirees will be announced in January. After TÜİK announces the inflation data, the raise rate for civil servant and retiree salaries will be finalized.
The home care allowance of 9,077 lira, paid to those caring for a sick or disabled relative, is expected to rise to 10,100 lira in 2025.
The monthly payment of 3,338 TL for individuals with a 40-69% disability is expected to increase by 11.25% to 3,713 TL.
The pension for those with a disability of 70% or more is expected to rise from 5,007 TL to 5,570 TL.
However, the exact raise rate will be determined in line with the 6-month inflation difference, following the announcement of the December inflation data on January 3.
HOW TO APPLY FOR HOME CARE ALLOWANCE?
To receive the home care allowance, the following 3 conditions must be met:
Meeting income criteria,
Meeting the criteria for being in need of care,
A medical board report stating that the individual is severely disabled.
To receive the home care allowance, the total net income of the household is calculated, and this income is divided by the number of household members (including the disabled person) to determine the income per capita.
Applications are made to the Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services in the region where the disabled person resides, or to the District Directorate if available.
