WHEN WILL IUP SALARIES BE DEPOSITED?
A definitive date has not yet been announced regarding when the salaries of those working under the Labor Force Adaptation Program (IUP) will be paid. However, the payments are expected to be transferred to accounts shortly. It has been announced that official statements on the subject will be made soon. While salary payments are calculated based on the duration of participation in the program, it is stated that there will be an increase in salaries as of October and the monthly amount will rise to 12 thousand TL.
HOW MUCH ARE IUP SALARIES?
Participants are paid a daily allowance of 666.75 TL, determined by the Board of Directors, for the days they participate in the program throughout 2024.
In the first 4 weeks of the program, it is planned to provide 37.5 hours (5 days) of training per week as part of intensive training; in the following weeks, it is planned to conduct 22.5 hours (3 days) of training per week. IUP participants will receive an average monthly payment of 8 thousand TL, and in addition, their short-term insurance premiums will be covered.
WILL İŞKUR IUP SALARIES INCREASE?
The salary to be paid to participants under the Labor Force Adaptation Program (IUP) is calculated based on the number of days they participate. For 2024, the payment amount for each day of participation has been set at 566.73 TL. A working period of 5 days per week and a total of 37.5 hours will be applied for the first four weeks, and this duration will be reduced to 3 days and 22.5 hours per week in the following weeks. The salary of a participant who works 5 days in October is expected to be approximately 11,334 TL.
WHAT ARE THE IUP PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS?
Individuals who wish to apply for the IUP must be citizens of the Republic of Turkey and be registered with İŞKUR. In addition, applicants must be at least 18 years old, not receive a disability or old-age pension, and must not have worked in an insured job within the last year.
Furthermore, not having benefited from active labor force services or unemployment insurance provided by İŞKUR and having household income within certain limits are among the necessary conditions for application.
Applications from women, individuals with disabilities, former convicts, and individuals injured in the fight against terrorism are evaluated with priority.
Additionally, the fact that participants are working in another job outside of the IUP does not constitute an obstacle to their participation in the program.
