HAVE THE MARCH 2025 SED PAYMENTS BEEN DEPOSITED?
The Ministry of Family and Social Services deposits SED payments into accounts by the 20th of each month. There has been no statement from the ministry on this matter yet.
HOW MUCH ARE THE INCREASED SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC SUPPORT PAYMENTS?
With the civil servant salary coefficient adjustment made in January, SED payments were increased to 7 thousand 94 liras.
WHO CAN RECEIVE SUPPORT?
There are certain conditions to benefit from the Social and Economic Support service:
- Children who are cared for in social service institutions under a care measure decision and who can be placed with their families or relatives if support is provided.
- Children who would fall into a state of needing protection due to economic deprivation if they do not receive support, and who can benefit from social and economic support without a care measure decision being taken.
- Young people who have left social service institutions or foster families because they have reached the age limit after a care measure decision was taken, who are participating in job and vocational training courses or are in education, or who would fall into a state of need if they did not receive support before acquiring a profession.
- Those who are unable to meet their own and their family's basic needs for a short period due to an extraordinary disaster, natural disaster, illness, or accident, as well as children of individuals who require surgery due to life-threatening health problems or who have passed away.
- Applications are evaluated in accordance with the Regulation on Social and Economic Support Services, and those deemed appropriate as a result of the examinations are supported.
