Minister of Family and Social Services Göktaş issued a written statement regarding the birth grant applications launched within the scope of the 'Year of the Family.' Questions regarding the amount of the birth grant, the application process, and the 2025 birth grant requirements have come to the fore.

HOW MUCH IS THE 2025 BIRTH GRANT?

For the 1st child: A one-time payment of 5,000 TL

For the 2nd child: 1,500 TL per month until the child turns 5

For the 3rd and subsequent children: 5,000 TL per month until the child turns 5

WHAT ARE THE BIRTH GRANT APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS?

Emphasizing that the birth grants will be provided without any criteria, Göktaş made the following statements: 'Our families who have children as of January 1, 2025, will benefit from these grants. Accordingly, for the first child born as of January 1, 2025, our one-time birth grant of 5,000 lira, for the second child 1,500 lira per month, and for the third and subsequent children 5,000 lira per month will be deposited into our mothers' accounts. These supports will continue until our children turn 5 years old.'

HOW TO APPLY FOR THE BIRTH GRANT?

Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced that applications for the birth grants, launched within the scope of the Year of the Family, began to be accepted via e-Devlet as of Tuesday, April 8, 2025.
