IMM to hold tender for 250 app-based taxi transport licenses

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) will hold a tender for 250 app-based taxi transport licenses.
According to the announcement published in the Official Gazette, each of the rights will be operated by granting a license to natural persons for a period of 29 years.
The estimated value for each transport license has been set at 6 million 376 thousand liras plus VAT.
The temporary guarantee amount will be 191 thousand 280 liras.
ONLY NATURAL PERSONS WILL BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE TENDER
The tender, which will be conducted via the closed bid procedure, will take place on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Dr. Mimar Kadir Topbaş Performance and Art Center.
Bids must be submitted to the IMM Council Branch Directorate no later than 12:00 PM on Monday, October 12, 2026.
Only natural persons will be able to participate in the tender.
HERE ARE THE REQUIRED CONDITIONS
Each person will be able to obtain a maximum of one app-based taxi transport license.
Participants will be required to reside in Istanbul, hold at least a Class B driver's license, and be at least 22 years old and under 69 years old as of the date of the tender.
