Major changes to working hours underway: Regulations to begin

The Ministry of Labor and Social Security has taken action to regulate working hours.

With this regulation, working hours in the private sector will change, with the goal of creating a more efficient work order. Currently, the weekly working hours are set at 45.

However, with the new regulation, this duration will be reduced to 40 hours. This change is intended to cover all professional groups and ensure a more effective work order.

This step aims to support better working conditions for employees in both the public and private sectors. It is considered an important step toward resolving the fragmentation in the Labor Law and further empowering employees.
