Minister Koca announces: 8,000 workers to be hired via İŞKUR without interviews

Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca answered questions from members of the press following the Cabinet Meeting at the Palace.

When asked by a journalist about the status of worker recruitment for the Ministry of Health, Koca stated the following:

8,000 WORKERS TO BE HIRED WITHOUT INTERVIEWS

"We will hire 8,000 workers through a lottery from among the applications made to İŞKUR. In a very short time, we will conduct the lottery draw at our Ministry's headquarters in the presence of a notary and via a live broadcast on YouTube. Following the lottery draw, we will complete the placement process shortly, without any interviews." 

STATEMENT ON 27,000 PERSONNEL

Reminding that the ÖSYM placement results regarding the Ministry's recruitment of 27,000 personnel have also been announced, Minister Koca said, "Our 27,000 colleagues have been appointed to contract positions without any interview process. Hopefully, our new colleagues will begin their duties as soon as their appointment processes are completed and will strengthen us."

WHEN WILL THE RESULTS BE ANNOUNCED?

Upon the question, "When will the results of the Medical Sub-Specialty Training be announced?", Fahrettin Koca noted the following:

"We expect ÖSYM to announce the exam results in the coming days. As is known, the latest law also included some regulations regarding sub-specialists. In addition, the law provided for an increase of 9,000 in the number of contract staff positions. With this increase, all sub-specialists outside of Ankara and Istanbul will now be on contract. As the number of positions increases over time, all sub-specialists will have the opportunity to become contract staff. We expect the preference results to be announced by ÖSYM in the coming days. We will all see together that sub-specialty training is highly preferred."
