Ministry of Trade deems Metan brand drain opener unsafe

The Ministry of Trade continues to identify unsafe products within the framework of market surveillance and inspection. Most recently, a "Metan" brand drain opener was determined to pose a danger to consumer health as a result of examinations.

Following the inspections, serious health risks associated with the use of the product in question were identified. Consequently, the Ministry banned the sale of the product and decided to have it recalled from the market. The Ministry stated that it will continue to announce such unsafe products to the public and take the necessary measures.
