MINISTRY OF TRADE TO HIRE 988 PERSONNEL

The Ministry of Trade has published its 988-personnel recruitment announcement in the Official Gazette. In line with the information provided by Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat over the weekend, all details regarding the recruitment have been clarified.

In this recruitment, 865 contract-based and 123 permanent staff will be employed in the Ministry's central, provincial, and revolving fund organizations.

WHEN DO MINISTRY OF TRADE PERSONNEL RECRUITMENT APPLICATIONS BEGIN?

Candidates will be able to apply between March 24 and April 11 via e-Devlet (Ministry of Trade/Career Gate) or the Career Gate https://isealimkariyerkapisi.cbiko.gov.tr.

Applications that do not meet the requirements or are not submitted within the specified period will not be considered valid. Applications made by mail or any other method will not be accepted. Candidates will only be able to apply for one position or post.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR MINISTRY OF TRADE PERSONNEL RECRUITMENT

a) To meet the requirements specified in sub-clauses 1, 4, 5, 6, and 7 of clause (A) of the first paragraph of Article 48 of the Civil Servants Law No. 657,

b) Not to have been dismissed from duty or profession while working in any public institution,

c) Not to have any illness that would prevent the continuous performance of their duties,

d) To be suitable for duty anywhere in the country and under all types of climatic conditions,

e) To have a positive result from a Security Investigation or Archive Research depending on the position and post to be preferred,

f) To possess the qualifications specified under the special conditions heading in the Annex-1 and Annex-2 lists depending on the position and post to be preferred.

MINISTRY OF TRADE PERSONNEL RECRUITMENT POSITION-BRANCH DISTRIBUTION

In the recruitment of contract-based personnel, 200 inspection officers, 550 customs enforcement officers, 3 agricultural engineers, 2 mechanical engineers, 2 civil engineers, 2 electrical engineers, 6 food engineers, 5 textile engineers, 4 mechanical engineers, 4 chemical engineers, 1 electrical and electronics engineer, 1 industrial engineer, 30 office staff, 20 seafarers, and 35 drivers will be employed.

For the permanent staff recruitment, 50 consumer arbitration committee rapporteurs, 13 captains, 20 machinists, 4 cashiers, 6 sales clerks, and 30 warehouse clerks will be employed.
