Pork scandals increase on the Ministry's disclosure list
It has been announced that products containing pork have been detected in four additional businesses on the list of imitation and adulterated foods published by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry began sharing its list of imitation and adulterated foods with the public starting October 2, 2024. This list is updated regularly to ensure consumer safety.
Since the Ministry's disclosure list began publication, a total of seven pork scandals have emerged. These scandals occurred on different dates and in various provinces.
On December 18, 2024, pork was found in beef ribs at a Chinese restaurant in Muğla. On the same date, pork was also detected in beef sausage at a butcher in Havran, Balıkesir. Later, on February 20, 2025, it was determined that there was pork in the Adana meatballs and kebabs at a business named Muhtar Hanım'ın Yeri.
According to the Ministry's disclosure list, pork scandals have occurred to date in the provinces of Konya, Balıkesir, Muğla, Bursa, and Antalya. This situation once again highlights the necessity for stricter inspections regarding food safety.
