Press Advertising Agency decisions published in the Official Gazette

The General Assembly Decision of the Press Advertising Agency regarding loans and aid has been published in the Official Gazette. With this decision, the amounts of loans and aid provided by the institution to press employees have changed.

The amount of interest-free loans provided to press members has been increased from 6 thousand Turkish Liras to 12 thousand Turkish Liras; aid provided to those who get married or have a child has been increased from 9 thousand 600 Turkish Liras to 15 thousand Turkish Liras. The installment period for repayments has been set at 12 months.

Non-repayable hardship aid has been increased from 4 thousand Turkish Liras to 6 thousand Turkish Liras, and death benefits have been increased from 6 thousand Turkish Liras to 9 thousand Turkish Liras.

WHO CAN RECEIVE LOANS FROM THE PRESS ADVERTISING AGENCY?

The forms and conditions regarding the loans and aid to be provided to those working intellectually and physically in the press, as well as the procedures and principles regarding their implementation, have been announced.

Those eligible to receive loans were also listed item by item;

  • Individuals working intellectually and physically in the press sector.
  • Individuals working intellectually and physically in agencies serving periodicals that have the right to publish official announcements and advertisements.
  • Employees of unions and press associations that have the right to have representatives in the Agency's General Assembly.
  • Employees of the Presidency's Directorate of Communications will be able to receive loans from the Press Advertising Agency.
