Published in the Official Gazette: Midnight appointment and dismissal decisions from Erdoğan
Numerous changes in duties were made in ministries with the decisions published in the Official Gazette. While the provincial directors of Mersin and Düzce were dismissed, new names were appointed for the directorates in Bitlis, Aksaray, Samsun, Çorum, Hatay, Konya, and Malatya.

Appointment and dismissal decisions signed by AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan were published in the Official Gazette dated September 8, 2026. Within the scope of the decisions, 13 appointments were made to public institutions, while 2 provincial directors were dismissed.
According to the decisions, Deputy General Manager of National Real Estate Ahmet Akcan was appointed to the Court of Accounts Prosecutor's Office. Osman Fadıl Üner was appointed to the vacant position of Bitlis Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
Within the scope of the changes at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Mersin Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism Hakan Doğanay was dismissed. Malatya Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism Yener Oba was appointed to this position. Abdullah Oğuz was appointed as the Aksaray Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism, and Süleyman Demirtaş was appointed as the Samsun Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism.
Faruk Berat Akçeşme was appointed to the vacant position of General Manager of Higher Education and Overseas Education at the Ministry of National Education. At the Ministry of Trade, Adil Yıldırım was appointed as the General Manager of Support Services, Liquidation Affairs, and Revolving Fund.
At the Ministry of Trade, Düzce Provincial Director of Trade Çiğdem Acar was dismissed. In the appointments made to provincial trade directorates, Fatih İncitmez was appointed to Çorum, Hüseyin Yalçın Koca to Hatay, Burak Nerse to Konya, and Gazi Dinçaslan to Malatya.
With the decisions, Yasin Aydoğan and Recep Aydın were also appointed as members of the Board of Directors of the Halal Accreditation Agency.
