Şırnak Governor's Office announces: Banned for 7 days

The Şırnak Governor's Office has announced that demonstrations, marches, and open-air meetings will not be permitted in the city for 7 days.
The statement issued by the Governor's Office included the following:
"With the exception of events deemed appropriate by the Governor's Office and district governorates, programs organized by public institutions and organizations, official holidays, official commemoration days, official ceremonies and celebrations, programs held by these institutions in accordance with their traditions and customs, congresses held by unions and political parties in accordance with their bylaws, and sports activities; all types of open-air meetings and demonstration marches, mass welcoming and farewell ceremonies, press statements held by institutions and organizations outside their own buildings, sit-in protests, rallies, tent pitching, signature campaigns, setting up stands, mass funeral ceremonies and cemetery visits, commemoration ceremonies, festivals, concerts, entertainment, theatrical performances, all types of actions and events of a demonstrative nature, all types of audio and visual activities that can be carried out with sound broadcasting vehicles, flying wish lanterns and balloons, all types of aerial activities such as drones and paramotors, and—excluding the commercial activities of private legal entities with a commercial identity—the distribution of flyers, stickers, and brochures, and the hanging of posters and banners, are prohibited throughout the entire province, including the city center and districts of Şırnak, for a period of 7 days from 00:01 on November 22, 2023, to 23:59 on November 28, 2023," the statement read.
