Grand National Assembly of Turkey decision on the establishment of a commission to investigate the mining accident published in the Official Gazette

The Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) decision to establish a parliamentary research commission to investigate all aspects of the mining accident that occurred in the İliç district of Erzincan and to determine measures to prevent similar accidents has been published in the Official Gazette. 

The commission will consist of 22 members. The working period of the commission will be 3 months, starting from the date of the election of the chair, deputy chair, spokesperson, and secretary. 

The commission will be able to work outside of Ankara if necessary.
