The 3rd meeting of the Minimum Wage Determination Commission, which began at 11:30 today, has concluded. As in the first two meetings, no specific figure regarding the minimum wage was mentioned in this meeting either. Millions of people are eagerly awaiting a possible announcement of a figure from the meeting. The commission usually meets 3 to 4 times. So, will a 4th meeting be held?

The commission consists of 15 people under the Ministry of Labor and Social Security. Workers are represented by TÜRK-İŞ, and employers are represented by the Turkish Confederation of Employer Associations (TİSK). The TÜRK-İŞ delegation is led by Vice President Ramazan Ağar. The delegation also includes representatives from various professional groups such as cooks, hairdressers, and subcontracted workers.
In his statement after the meeting, Ağar stated that no figures were brought to the agenda during the 3rd minimum wage commission meeting. As for the 4th meeting where the minimum wage will be determined, Ağar has not yet provided a date.
