As the striking workers demand fairer wages and working conditions, messages of solidarity are increasing.

Visiting the picket line today, Zafer Party İzmir Provincial Chair Naşit Birgüvi stated, "We stand with all our workers, we are their supporters, and we stand with labor and sweat."

Petrol-İş Union İzmir Branch President Cem Turan also delivered a message of solidarity alongside the workers.

Turan said, "TPI workers went on strike for humane living conditions, refusing the 30 percent wage increase imposed by the employer. This struggle is not just that of the TPI workers, but the struggle of all laborers."

The workers' demands include a wage increase in line with inflation, improvements in social benefits, and secure working conditions.
