The first models for Googlebook, which is stated to be prepared by Google as a new Android-based computer platform following Chromebooks, have begun to take shape. Recent leaks have revealed important details regarding the screen, processor, memory, and storage options of the Lenovo-branded Googlebook 15.

It is claimed that the Lenovo Googlebook 15 will come with a 15.3-inch OLED touchscreen. The screen is expected to offer a resolution of 2,880 x 1,800 pixels, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 500 nits. These technical specifications suggest that the device could be positioned above classic Chromebook models.

On the hardware side, an Intel Core Ultra 5 processor, 16 GB and 32 GB LPDDR5x RAM options, and 256 GB and 512 GB storage alternatives are on the agenda. This picture shows that the Googlebook 15 could exceed the Chromebook Plus standard, especially in terms of performance and screen quality.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE FEATURES MAY STAND OUT

It is stated that artificial intelligence features are also behind Google's preference for more powerful hardware in its new computer platform. It is reported that the company is preparing some tools under the name Gemini Intelligence for the Googlebook platform. One of these, Magic Cursor, is said to allow the user to issue commands via content on the screen by turning the mouse cursor into a tool connected to Gemini.

The leak also suggested that a multi-colored LED strip called a "glowbar" will be included in Googlebook models, and that the Lenovo Googlebook 15 will also use this design element. It is claimed that Lenovo is working not only on a laptop model but also on a tablet form with a detachable keyboard and touchpad.

There has been no official statement from Google or Lenovo regarding the price of the Googlebook 15. However, the revealed hardware list strengthens the expectation that the new devices could be offered for sale at a higher price level than many Chromebook models.

It is suggested that Google may hold a media event on September 15 to showcase the first Googlebook models. Therefore, more details regarding the Lenovo Googlebook 15 and other devices on the platform are expected to be clarified shortly.
