NVIDIA introduced Project DIGITS, a new AI supercomputer for desktop use, at the CES event held in January 2025. This device aims to provide an affordable and high-performance solution for AI researchers, data scientists, and students.

NVIDIA Project DIGITS is a desktop-sized AI supercomputer developed for individual users and small research teams. Offering the ability to run and develop AI models locally, this device stands out with its high-performance hardware.

WHAT ARE THE HIGHLIGHTED FEATURES?

GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip: Combining NVIDIA’s Grace CPU with its Blackwell GPU, this powerful chipset delivers up to 1 petaflop of AI performance.

Memory and Storage: 128 GB of unified memory and up to 4 TB of NVMe storage capacity allow for running large AI models (up to 200 billion parameters) locally.

Software Support: Running on a Linux-based operating system, Project DIGITS provides access to NVIDIA’s AI software library. By supporting popular frameworks such as PyTorch, Python, and Jupyter Notebook, it offers a broad ecosystem for developers.

Pricing and Accessibility: Scheduled for release in May 2025, the starting price for Project DIGITS has been set at $3,000. This pricing aims to bring high-performance AI hardware to a wider range of users with an affordable approach.
