Adobe stands out as one of the pioneering companies that closely follows artificial intelligence trends and rapidly integrates these innovations into its applications. Since the launch of ChatGPT, Adobe has undertaken remarkable projects in the field of AI and has incorporated its Firefly artificial intelligence tool into many of its applications.

The company, which greatly simplifies user workflows with AI support, has recently announced that it has integrated an AI-based video creation tool into Premiere Pro as well.

The new feature, called Generative Extend, has been offered to Premiere users in beta. Thanks to this feature, it is possible to extend a video by a few seconds at the beginning, end, or any part of it. Additionally, with this feature, you can fix minor errors such as shifting the image of a person in the frame during editing or correcting unwanted movements.

Since the Generative Extend function can only extend a clip by two seconds, it is more suitable for making small changes. However, the tool can also be used to extend audio duration while working at 720p or 1080p resolution and 24 frames per second. Nevertheless, there are some limitations. For example, users can extend sound effects or ambient sounds up to 10 seconds, but the same does not apply to recorded speech or music tracks.
