Adobe has introduced a generative artificial intelligence tool aimed at helping people without any professional audio experience create and customize music.
The tool, called Project Music GenAI Control, allows users to create music using text prompts and then edit that audio without switching to specialized editing software.
According to a report by Webrazzi, users can adjust prompts such as tempo, intensity, repeating patterns, and structure using this tool.
At the same time, they can take a track and extend it as they wish.
Developed in collaboration with researchers at the University of California and Carnegie Mellon, Project Music GenAI Control could be made available to everyone in the future. However, Gautham Mysore, Adobe's head of audio and video AI research, stated that the platform does not even have a user interface yet and is currently in the research phase.
