Alphabet's revenue increased in the second quarter
The revenue of the US technology company Alphabet increased by 14 percent and its net profit by 28.6 percent as of the second quarter of the year.

Accordingly, Alphabet's revenue in the second quarter of the year increased by 14 percent compared to the same period last year, reaching 84.7 billion dollars. The company had generated 74.6 billion dollars in revenue in the second quarter of 2023.
The company's net profit also rose by 28.6 percent in the second quarter compared to the same period last year, reaching 23.6 billion dollars. Alphabet had recorded a net profit of 18.4 billion dollars in the same period last year.
The company's earnings per share, which were 1.44 dollars in the second quarter of last year, rose to 1.89 dollars in the same period this year.
Alphabet's revenue and profit for the period in question exceeded market expectations.
