Applications have opened for the James Dyson Award, which provides new opportunities for students and recent graduates working in engineering and design. The deadline for applications is July 16.

The James Dyson Award, which offers young engineers and designers the opportunity to make a difference with their innovative projects, has begun accepting applications for 2025. Open to students and recent graduates in 29 countries and regions, the competition supports solution-oriented ideas in the fields of technology and engineering.
30 thousand pounds prize
Having provided more than 1 million pounds in financial support to over 400 young entrepreneurs since 2005, the award offers winners the opportunity to commercialize their projects and introduce them to a wide audience. The grand prize winner will be awarded 30 thousand pounds (approximately 1.4 million lira).

Determination of international finalists: October 15, 2025
Announcement of international winners: November 5, 2025
Projects will be evaluated in terms of functionality, innovation, design process, and commercialization potential. Finalists from among the projects selected by the national jury will be determined through the direct evaluation of Dyson engineers and James Dyson.
