Google’s Gemini AI platform has been updated with the ability to listen to and understand audio recordings. This new feature can be used to transcribe or summarize audio recordings. With this innovation added to the Gemini AI tool developed by the US-based technology company Google, audio files can now be listened to and analyzed.
According to the report in Webtekno, this new feature of Gemini is not yet available for general use. The feature can be tested within the Gemini 1.5 Pro plan, which is currently in the testing phase. Users can have Gemini listen to audio files uploaded from external sources and receive support to achieve their desired results. Functions such as transcribing or summarizing audio files will be among Google Gemini's capabilities.
The use of Gemini 1.5 Pro is currently only possible through Google's Vertex AI or AI Studio development platforms. There is no clear information yet on whether this new feature will remain exclusive to these platforms or if it will be made available for general use.
