New battery claims have been added regarding the new high-end iPhone models that Apple is expected to introduce next month. In three battery images shared in leaks originating from China, it was stated that the capacity of the part claimed to belong to the iPhone 18 Pro Max appears as 5,391 mAh.
It is alleged that this value applies to the model with a physical SIM card slot. Since iPhone versions with physical SIM support are sold in the Chinese market, it is considered that the version that will work only with eSIM could make room for a larger battery.
According to this scenario, a 5,567 mAh capacity battery could be used in the eSIM version of the iPhone 18 Pro Max. If the claim is confirmed, the Pro Max model will be presented to users with a more significant battery capacity increase compared to the previous generation.
The same leak source also shared battery capacity information for the iPhone 18 Pro. Accordingly, it is claimed that the eSIM version of the iPhone 18 Pro will have a 4,288 mAh battery, while the physical SIM card version will have a 4,056 mAh battery.
The shared figures indicate that Apple may make a more distinct separation between the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max models regarding the battery. According to the claims, while the increase in the iPhone 18 Pro remains at the 1 to 2 percent level, the increase in the iPhone 18 Pro Max could reach the 9 to 12 percent range.
Apple has not made an official statement regarding the battery capacities of the new iPhone models. Therefore, it should be noted that the shared values are pre-launch leaks and that there may be changes in the final products.
