As a result, children who are older in the classroom can show higher success in tests.

Another dimension of the issue is related to the development of babies in the womb. The final stages of pregnancy for mothers who give birth in the winter months mostly coincide with the summer months. During this process, being exposed to more sunlight, thus increasing vitamin D levels and having easier access to fresh food, positively supports the baby's development.

Additionally, the fact that the first months of pregnancy do not coincide with periods when some epidemic diseases are common can also positively affect the baby's development. Researchers state that the main motivation for the success of children born in the winter months is not genetic, but environmental and educational factors.
