China launches two communication technology test satellites with Long March-6 rocket

China has sent two communication technology test satellites into space. The satellites were launched on July 30 at 09:00 from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center using a Long March-6 carrier rocket.
Following the launch, it was reported that the satellites successfully entered their pre-determined orbits. It was stated that the satellites will be used in the fields of satellite communication, radio and television broadcasting, and data transmission.
It was noted that test and verification studies for communication technologies will also be conducted with these satellites. The launch is considered part of China's trial activities in space-based communication infrastructure and related technologies.
